
Elizabeth grew up in Ohio, but spent summers and holidays in Kentucky with her large extended family. Elizabeth lived in Cambridge, MA while doing her graduate work at Harvard. She now divides her time between Yellow Springs & Cincinnati, Ohio and Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Elizabeth sees most clients online, but is able to see some in-person clients in her home office in Yellow Springs, Ohio.

Rev. Dr. Elizabeth Gish received both her master’s and doctorate from Harvard University where she studied trauma, pastoral care & counseling, and psychoanalytic theory. Elizabeth is an ordained minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), a member of the American Academy of Psychotherapists, and a member of ACPE (Association for Clinical Pastoral Education).
Elizabeth primarily works with adults and specializes in recovery from a relationship with a narcissistic parent or partner, grief, parenting, religious trauma, and pregnancy loss/infertility. Elizabeth is LGBTQA+ affirming and has experience supporting people as they navigate the complexity of these identities and religious teachings or families.
Elizabeth also works in the field of dialogue and deliberation. When she isn’t working, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her partner, her children and extended family, being in nature, caring for her cats, and reading about psychology, religion, and politics.
